Green Inland Ports online workshop
We are pleased to announce the Green Inland Ports workshop, taking place on the 23 May from 10am – 12pm CET!
The workshop will deep dive into the topics, such as digitalisation in inland ports, urban and short range IWT, environmental impact of ports and energy efficiency in port. We will also discuss and present the development of an Environmental Sustainable Management System (ESMS) tools which aim to support inland ports in greening.
It will be an interactive workshop where you can ask questions about the project, provide your insights and share experience about inland ports greening from your experience.
The agenda of the workshop is as follows:
🔹 Determining the environmental impact of inland ports;
🔹 Determining the potential of sustainable urban and short-range IWT based on lessons learnt from good practice cases;
🔹 Exploring innovative digital solutions for sustainable inland port development;
🔹 Development of Environmental and Sustainable Management System (ESMS) tools and pilot implementation of the tools.
